SUMMARY

The ideal candidate for this role will be strategically minded, an influencer, a driver for change and will be focused on business performance with metrics driven outcomes. This individual will need to deploy a flexible analytical skill set, hold teams and individuals accountable to critical deadlines, foster a collaborative cross functional approach to projects, and address operational challenges as they arise. The Project Manager will deal with complex problems and ambiguity by using a variety of tools to find answers and can work with large amounts of data with high attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plans and manages multiple complex projects.
  • Applies appropriate project management methodologies to ensure successful completion of organizational strategic objectives.
  • Works with key stakeholders to develop a clear understanding of a business need, define the project goals and charter, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Communicates progress, risks, expectations, milestones, and other key project metrics to the Executive Sponsor, Project Leader, and team members.
  • Establishes collaborative relationships to achieve objectives.
  • Recommends improvements to established business processes while continuing to deliver high value in execution.
  • Builds project plans with work break down strategy in mind.
  • Builds dashboards for ease of use and quick decisions.
  • Discovery of current state processes and building the future state through process mapping.
  • Builds relationships of trust across functions and organizations; collaborates effectively across teams to define strategy, goals and commitment to timelines and deliverables.
  • Anticipates the needs, risks, and challenges of projects.
  • Develops creative and practical solutions based on evaluation of multiple factors.
  • Assists Lines of Business in resourcing the strategic projects of TMA Systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MANAGEMENT/SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY

Manage multiple projects without having direct supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the project/program management space leading cross-functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives and emerging needs.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Advanced knowledge of project management best practices and strong organizational skills; PMP and CCMP certifications or equivalents are highly desirable.
  • Ability to influence executive and senior management leadership and set expectations for major cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ability to leverage organizational change management practices to drive successful business outcomes.
  • Ability to achieve buy-in at executive and all levels and influence without authority. Can readily understand business drivers, program impact, and individual motivations.
  • Ability to consistently show good judgment, critical thinking, and creative solutioning.
  • Ability to create impactful business cases.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work with large data set manipulations.
  • Working knowledge of large server-based applications and typical desktop software preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional manner
