In 2005, Walgreens was looking for a solution that could manage the assets at their 13 distribution centers throughout the United States and the Caribbean. Their goal was to find one solution that could track all their assets and manage their maintenance operations. These assets included: facilities and equipment. Equipment included conveyer systems and on-site ground equipment such as forklifts and related spare parts. After an extensive search, WebTMA was selected as the preferred solution. It was selected because WebTMA’s multiple repair/cost centers provided the ability to properly track their operational costs on a department as well as location basis.
Walgreens, with 9,560 stores continues to innovate with technology such as TMA’s maintenance management solutions. This type of innovation represents their vision of how advanced technology can help them provide the highest level of service to their customers.
TMA not only meets Walgreens needs — it exceeds them.
