March, 10 2020
Today, following recent reports related to the spread of COVID-19 from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), TMA believes it is clearly necessary to cancel the 2020 User Conference.
There has been a tremendous amount of work put into preparing for this year’s event, but the health and safety of our clients and employees need to come first. Based on the evolving circumstances and guidelines suggested by health experts, this was a clear decision. The CDC recommends practicing “Social Distancing”. This means remaining out of places where people meet or gather, avoiding local public transportation and maintaining distance from others (approximately 6 feet or 2 meters). The event clearly cannot accommodate this recommendation.
We will be doing the following:
- We will be scheduling online sessions during the month of April. These will primarily focus on WebTMA 7.
- We will be providing a host of tutorials related to WebTMA 7.
Your “Registration Fee”:
- We will be happy to refund it.
- You can apply it to next year’s conference which will be held April 13th – 15th, 2021.
Please notify Emily Goss (firstname.lastname@example.org) on how you would like to handle your “Registration Fee”.
We hope you understand this was not an easy decision for us. We felt taking a proactive stance was the appropriate action for everyone involved.
